    Salma Hayek was born on September 2, 1966 in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Her mother was a Spaniard, and his father – a Lebanese, so the girl got a name, which translates from Arabic as “calm”. In 2002, Salma Hayek is nominated for an Oscar for a pivotal role in “Frida”, affirming that it is not only an exotic beauty, but also a talented actress.
